we had one of the round rooms which seemed to be of a better quality than the main hotel. the room was decent, bathroom fair. the hotel had a pool but the water looked dirty. the hotel had nice flowers but again as typical for indian hotels there were rough edges. none of the fountains were filled, leaving big holes... more

The only plus point is its Location. Otherwise food is pathetic...it's better to find a fast food joint locally and have your food there. Services are substandard..they dont allow you to drink in the garden or along the pool side..they dont serve food in the room..rates are exorbitant..basically it's meant to milk the foreigners..indians should not fall prey to it. more

We stayed there for New year eve. The hotel was just okay. The amenities were reduced to the minimum. There was a pool but no lounge chairs. The reflection pools were not filled. The grass was dry. The internet was not working. There was not heat in the rooms (it was an exceptionnal 3° celcius at night). They made us... more

This resort hotel was fine, although it's a tour group mecca. We stayed in one of the standard rooms, which take the form of round cottages, each apparently slightly different inside. We had the 2nd bed made up (not a problem), however, because we found the double too small. We were very comfortable. Another pair in our small group had... more

We stayed in one of the pavilion rooms around the pool. The rooms are pleasant and the mattress is comfortable, but the blankets were thick, stiff cotton quilts and were uncomfortable. The plumbing was in need of updating, and just barely worked. The pool was beautiful, and dining al fresco around the pool was very pleasant. Rajastani dancers and musicians... more

The hotel is a little outside town but has a great view of the Jaisalmer fort. the rooms are nice and clean. the only hitch is that the food they were serving while we were there was tasteless... apaprt from that it is a great place to stay and very reasonable. more

This hotel surprised us with a nice pool and a comfortable room. After arriving from a bad hotel from Jodhpur, this hotel definitely gives us a sense of relief. You can relax and see the sun setting near the poolside. A beautiful sight. Food is excellent and affordable and generally the service provided by the staffs were above average. Definitely... more

Only 1 1/2 kms. from the chaos and seemingly hundreds of hotels, guesthouses, internet cafes, and touts, the Himmatgarh Palace is a gem! With a beautiful view of the fort in the distance, one can relax and enjoy in tranquility this beautiful property. We are staying in an air-conditioned luxury Bhurj (characteristic desert round tower, in the shape of the... more
