in reply to the last review, mandore guesthouse is certainly NOT far from the city...it isn't walkable but the bus ride or auto rickshaw takes 10-15mins to get to the clock tower/fort. The bus is the cheapest by far at only 6Rps (7p-ish!!) and this way you get the chance to interact with the locals... the gardens of the guesthouse... more
