One could get spoilt in this property. great rooms. Nice pool. Authentic cuisine. pleasant staff. All in all meets the clients expectations. The heritage boutique value completes the experience. comfort and luxury. Good place to spend a romantic weekend or even an entire week. small little market just outside the property is very nice to walk to in the evenings.

When Jane Kibbler of Holiday Please World Travel suggested we stay at this hotel I asked why, there is nothing there. She said humour me and just go for one night. So we did and thank goodness as it was wonderful. When we walked through the archway to the hotel it took our breath away. It is truly magnificent. A... More

This is a genuine maharaja palace or castle that's been restored and accommodated to excellent hotel standards. The rooms are magnificent, with original frescos in the Rajasthani style of art, antique period furniture, and so on. There is outdoor terrace dining (weather permitting; great food) and an evening dance performance of traditional Rajasthani style. There is also a self-guided tour... More

Alot of people only stay here overnight but we spent 3 wonderful nights in this beautiful palace and would have loved to have stayed much longer. We stayed in Suite 245 and even though we didn't see any other rooms we could not have wished for anything more. It had a huge mezzanine lounge area with a wrought iron spiral... More

by all means, you don't expect many Hotels in India to have rave food, but the location more than made up for it. In all India's palaces, the character of the place more than makes up for the rest. The nightly floor show has super dancers & musicians performing on a romantic moonlit terrace. The rooms are full of colour... More

we stayed for 2 nights in very well decorated and historic rooms with all old traditional and modern amenities.the room decor was exotic, comfortable and pleasing, transferring you to the rajwadi era.the numerous staircases and leeways taking you from one place to another by several routes was amazing.the view from terrace was breathtaking.bathrooms were well equipped and the swimming pool was clean... My wife and I spend 3 nights in the Maharana Suite #201...this has to be the most interesting / unique suite in India...we loved it. In most cities you would have to pay an admission to see such a historic suite...it is 330 years old. Amazingly everything was in good working condition. We stayed in the best suites India has... This is an excellent hotel run by the Royal family. We received an upgrade toa deluxe suite Rm 260, it was large and very comfortable with a spacious bathroom and good facilities, but no TV. They had wifi but no internet computer access, said it was being repaired. The architecture was very interesting and wandered over 4 floors. It had... More

We really enjoyed our 3 nights at Deogarh Mahal. In fact, it was our favourite in our independent travel for almost 4 weeks through Rahasthan. It was not only the beautiful palace with its history, special character and quirkiness, but we appreciated the attitude of the staff. The place is run, very hands on, by the present maharadja who is... More

Me and my husband are both Hoteliers, we very recently moved to Udaipur because of our jobs (originally from Delhi). We had 3 leaves in our kitty so thought of exploring Deogarh Palace which is approximately 3 hrs from Udaipur(recommended by our friends). We had a very decent stay, the village has nothing to offer as such but the Palace was... More
