Nothing ostentatious, very tastefully done up with an old world charm to it is how i would describe Ranthambore Bagh. It's barely 5-6mins from the Sawai Madhopur station, go there if you want experience wildlife and enrich your knowledge about the same - the owner is an encyclopedia on wildlife. The staff is attentive and smiling, food is delicious -... More

An amazing place to experience the National Park. The owner is a pro award winning photographer and shares amazing insights about the park over evening tea and dinner. Tents are wonderful and comfortable. Lunch and Dinner are served as buffet in the restaurant; cooked deliciously. Do not miss the photo exhibition, souvenir ship and library near the reception area.

one of our favourite hotels during our trip through india. we spent two nights there, doing safari trips in the nearby national park (that as well being a wonderful experience). staff was marvelous, really pampering us. food was delicous and sleeping in the tents was great too. there's nothing (besindes not having seen a tiger on those safaris - tough... We only spent one night at the Ranthambhore Bagh but it was a great experience. The tent was large comfortable and very clean. The Gypsy Safari was first class and we were so lucky to see a tiger. We loved the outdoor buffet in the evening the food was excellent and it was a very sociable affair. We would like to... More

Our first visit to Ranthambhore & our first experience staying in a tent ... we enjoyed it thoroughly. While definitely not in the 5 star category, the tents were large, roomy & very comfortable (nice beds too) and the bathroom/toilet was equally spacious. Had a slight problem with the water in the shower, but the staff were very attentive &... More

The Vanya Vilas this is not. But if you're looking for a clean, efficient, unpretentious place with good food - without having to pay an arm and a leg - the Ranthambhore Bagh's it. We arrived in time for a sumptuous Saturday Rajasthani style lunch and my friend who can't handle chillies also tucked in. The food's delicious and they... More

Ranthambore Bagh is so far the very best place I've been to in India. The tents are very clean and cool, with own bathroom. We had a safari package with 3 safaris, and even though we didn't see the tiger we would have loved to stay in this calm and relaxed place for much longer. Food is excellent!!! For one... More

The hotel staff and the owner himself lacks even the basic hospitality skills. I thought they were deriving pleasure when their staff was being rude to us. We were promised a jeep safari at the time of booking , but were asked to sit in a canter. Food was horrible. No morning tea in the room. The tents were crowded... More

This is a completely false review.... This family was part of a group booking made by a friend of ours. They are friends of her friends and were booked later, by which time all safaris to the national park were full. Our friend knew about this and had told her friends, who might not have conveyed this!!! We anyways managed... More

We stayed at this lovely property for 3 nights, and it was one of the most memorable parts of our 16-day Rajasthan road trip. The resort is well maintained, the tents are nice and comfortable (even in the December cold), and the lawns and gardens are beautiful. This was a perfect nest for us to enjoy some much needed downtime,... More

From the moment we were picked up from the station until when we were dropped off we enjoyed our stay here. We stayed in one of the tents which was lovely... comfortable and plenty of hot water. The food was delicious and we were well looked after. The hotel is full of great photos and lots of information about the... More

LThe Ranthambhore Bagh opened in 1998 as a modest 12-room hotel for travelers looking out for an experience in the Ranthambhore National Park. The following year we added luxury tents, with all the facilities that a modern day traveler needs. We have now evolved to a resort which caters to all kind of specialist needs and have become the favorite hangout of filming crews, photographers, naturalists, birders and tourists who desire a richer wildlife experience.
