After going through all the reviews in TripAdvisor, we selected Tiger Moon for its good review and Location (not on crowded Ranthombore road). I am very happy that I choose Tiger moon for my stay during 3rd week of Nov 2009. Awesome location, Pool ,Nice rooms with 24 hrs hot water facility, AC/Heater (very much required during evenings & early... more

We have just returned from an 8 night stay at Tiger Moon Resort at Ranthambhore; the resort combined with great tiger sightings made for an excellent holiday. Tiger Moon was peaceful as it was a quiet time of year, though there are only about 40 spaces at peak time so it would never get too overrun. Well kept, clean cottages... more

We visited Ranthambhore for 8 days in early June 2009 and based ourselves at the Tiger Moon Resort. Accommodation: The resort has a very homely feel with accommodation based around semidetached rooms scattered around the gardens and grounds. The rooms were clean with ample spare and a good quality bathroom, AC (essential for June when the temperature was above 40c),... more

Its depressing to write this four years after the visit but as i realize the power of tripadvisor and feel its only fair to warn others of an aspect of this property which still causes grave disquiet in me! we stayed with our kids here for 4 days and were mostly happy with the accomodation, the service from the staff... more

We stayed here whilst on a tour of the Golden Triangle with 8 others and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. The bungalows were basic but clean and confortable. The food was great and early morning tea welcome prior to the safaris - unfortunately no tigers for us. Staff friendly and entertainment enjoyable. We all booked a massage one afternoon - another... more

A super, unpretenious game park lodge; full of charm and character with smiling, helpful, polite and efficient staff. The bungalow rooms are basic but more than adequate with efficient heaters and hot water bottles!! (The weather was unseasonably cold). Food was basic Indian with limited western dishes but served in a dining room with roaring log fires. And we saw... more

We stayed for 2 nights here as part of a tour called "In Search of the Tiger" and we absolutely loved it! The setting is so peaceful and tranquil, like a little pocket of paradise in the jungle and in keeping with the surroundings. Its not plush and I admit the pillows could be a bit more plump, but the... more

Although the property is welcoming, the rooms are dated and the beds are about 2 inches thick and hard. No TV's which is ok with me. There are frequent power outages so take a flashlight with you. Generators will eventually kick in. Food was excellent but all Indian. Staff was very attentive and friendly. In Feb the pool was too... more

We stayed for 2 nights as part of a week-long organised tour "In Search of the Tiger" and we certainly saw tigers - 8 of them! The accomodation is en-suite but very basic (bed very hard) and the choice of food limited. The cleanliness was good, the food quality excellent (you need to like Indian food though) and the service... more

It is a hotel close to the Ranthabore National Park. The main reason for visiting was to see a Tiger. Sadly we did not but we did see a magnificent leopard and lots of other wildlife. The staff are pleasant but the food and facilities are very basic. No luxuries. I enjoyed it because I felt it was not a... more
