We stayed in this traditional, moderately priced guest house at the end of February. It is run by retired Col. Rathore and his wife. Breakfast can be provided in the big living room downstairs on request.. There are a multitude of restaurants in the immediate vicinity, including one of the best in town at normal prices, Masala, which is opposite. Rooms are large, clean and comfortable. There is some noise from the street on ocassion but this is more than outweighed. by central location. The Palace entrance is 5 mins walk and Lal Ghat for boats etc 1 min. It also has laundry service and simple rooftop with good views.. more
