Stayed for 3 nights with lake view from our room, balcony even the tiolet. Nice staff and owner. Running hot water, High ceiling. Very relax and nice view at the roof-top restaurant. Main attractions just cross the bridge within 2 mintues. Make sure book in advance. Reception at the roof-top (not ground floor). more

I'm not surprised to see the glowing tributes of foreigners to this place. Those who run it are slavish worshippers of white skin and white currencies. Dream Haven Guest House was great with cheap very clean rooms and great food at the resturant with views overlooking the lake. Also the staff were very helpful, especially when we missed our train to Delhi and they organised a cheap taxi for us (750km)! Hotel Dreamhaven is a wonderful 16 bedroom hotel in the heart of udaipur. Its at a walking distance from all the main attractions like city palace, bagore ki haveli and the markets.
