Paras Mahal is located a little away from the hubbub of Udaipur. Most of the hotels in Udaipur tend to be crammed around the two lakes, and I feel they are best avoided due to their questionable hygiene. We stayed at the hotel as part of a small group tour (Adventures Abroad). The hotel is on the south side of Udaipur, farther than ideal from the historic center of town, but not a very long or expensive auto rickshaw ride. A multistory hotel, fine, though nothing exceptional. more
