Nice destination. Away from the bustle of the city but not too far off either. The food at the Earl's court restaurant is fantastic and the staff is friendly. Fireplaces are as cosy as you could imagine. Well maintained resort and a great place for a 2-3 day break. Best Experience: The booking was a breeze and very hassle free.... more

This is a hertage hotel. Only few people who may like ancient stuff will like this hotel. This has very nice fire place. Very peaful place. They maintain good gardens. This hotel itself is a small world. I think it has less than 10 rooms. Food is excellent. Ofcourse service is also very good. But bit expensive. It is ideal... more

The hotel itself is very well-maintained with a great view and an elegant glass-walled restaurant. The rooms are also charming and immaculate and some have direct views of the hills through the garden. However, we ended up switching hotels after the staff refused to turn on any heating (without charging an extra Rs. 300) and would not light the fireplace... more

Kings Cliff sure is a hidden treasure. The colonial home is quaint and restful.Has a lot of ancient history to it.Makes you go back in time out there. We had a real relaxed holiday out there.Enjoyed every bit of the peace and quiet. The glass house restaurant is a real gem.The food is very good too.All in all a real pleasant stay. more

While the building is a lovely historical cottage and view is nice, the management is COMPLETELY incompetent at its best and downright RUDE and aggressive on many occassions. We had planned a nice new years retreat that was totally RUINED by the severely unheated room: for the steep price they charged us, one would expect not to be freezing in... more

We stayed in tempest most expensive of the rooms and what a waste of money. Phone in the corridor rings non stop. 8 staff have 3 meetings in a day.. most of the time you may have to walk up to the so called front desk and order food or ask for room service. Fireplace which doesnt work. not so... more

We stayed at this Hotel to celebrate our first anniversary and were extremely happy with our choice. The entire hotel has an incredible charm about it. It has a period air to it from the rooms to the restaurant and the beautifully manicured gardens. We would recommend the Deluxe rooms where we stayed as they have the most incredible view. We... more

When I first arrived I thought I had made a bit of a boo boo, as it all seemed a bit tatty and worn. However, this place grows on you very quickly. The views over the hills from the hotel grounds (and from the rooms of the poshest rooms) are fabulous, and being a couple of kilometres out of town... more

My family stayed here in early July 2009 for 3 nights. I seriously think this place is over rated in Trip advisor. Rooms are not very clean , I understand they are from some 1920s but it can be lot clearer. It seemed that the curtains were not washed since 1920 :). This place can be lot better than what... more

We stayed here for 2 nights and had a great time. The staff was attentive, the rooms were clean and well equipped and the food was great, albeit a little overpriced. Breakfast is served in a quaint greenhouse and is quite sumptuous. We also used the taxi service offered by the hotel and the drivers were friendly, courteous and really... more
