Besides being close to the Madumalai reserve forest, there is not much positive to say about this resort. The buildings are concrete eyesores. Our room (basic but ok) had a bathroom that stank. Booked this by phone while in India, but were unable to stay longer than one night, since they were fully booked over the holiday weekend. Picked up from Ooty for 950rs which took about an hour. Good driver in a jeep that made the large hairpin bends on the hill down much easier than in a local taxi. Arrived early... more

My wife and I and four (adult) children stayed for a few days in August 2007. It was a wonderful experience in a beautiful setting with a gorgeous pool.
