This homestay is located a bit far from city center as many people has pointed out. We stayed only for 1 night in Mughal room. The room is very spacious with a common room just as you enter the door before reaching the actual bedroom.. Unfortunately the bathroom is not en suite and the 2 bathrooms of the same floor... more

This is probably the best guest house to stay in India!! We were made extremely welcome with wonderful home cooking and exceptionally clean rooms. To meet Col. Lamba and listen to his views on life was delightful - and not an experience - ask the Colonel about good and bad experiences!! You imagine, as the place is so wonderful, he... more

First of all Colonel Lamda and his wife were wonderful hosts. I just wish their facility was in better shape. We arrived for one night's lodging as part of a package trip. Our room was large and initially looked more than adequate for our one night stay. Closer inspection showed some troubling problems. First small insects had invaded the room,... more

This was my favorite place in a 2-week stay in India. Though the location is a bit out of the way in Agra, I found this to be a plus rather than a minus. You can escape what can be a very aggressively touristy city; into a family neighborhood and be a part of the city instead of its victim.... more

Col Lamba is a great guy, with lots of details and insights on India and its history and changes. He is really helpful to visitors, and aims to please. So if you want to learn more about India and Agra from a local this is a good place to stay at a very good price. We ate dinner and breakfast... more

I stayed 2 nights in this place. There are 2 houses and my room was on the 1st floor of the private house. The room was okay. I had problems with getting water, but this problem was solved immediately. In the night I had a lot of mosquitos in my room and there was no mosquitonet, which would have helped... more

We were struggling to find accommodation in Agra. Booked by phone (friend speaks Hindi which made it easier) but Col. Lamba speaks very good english. The rooms are spread over two properties across the road from one another. Our room was spacious and looked recently redecorated. We had private bathroom but it was next door rather than en suite. Not... more

Mr and Mrs Lamba surely make you feel in an Indian home. Breakfast is nice and rooms are spacious. The road is probably not the nicest but, again, you feel quite like home. more

This homestay is with a delightful family. Rooms very clean and spacious. Around $30 US for B & B which is a steal for Agra. The location is a bit away from things, but only a Tuk Tuk away. Excellent food. A real find more
