We arrived from Varanasi on the overnight train very early in the morning. Having been travelling for 8 weeks around India and Nepal we were ready for a bit of relaxation. The house is set in a quiet neighborhood (some might consider it too quiet as there are few amenities nearby) but it was great not to have to listen... More

The best people you could meet. Very warm and inviting and go out of there way to help you. We were greeted with drinks and biscuits and then shown to our room which is more like our own apartment! The family helped with anything they could and the grandmother even showed me all of her saris which were beautiful. Would... More

Great place: quiet, simple but clean, extremely friendly and helpful family (we spoke mostly with Mr and Mrs Singh and their daughter-in-law). We had the room right next to the entrance and it was very big. Laundry service was perfect. Don't forget to plug in the mosquito thingy as you're told :-) We had our train to Varanasi in the... The Singh house is in the middle of a large garden set back from the road, in a quiet neighbourhood. The room we stayed in was really comfortable. The family make you welcome in their home and are extremely accommodating, without being obtrusive in any way. We found this place an excellent sanctuary, removed from the sometimes overwhelming hubbub of... More

Come to Agra for the Taj Mahal but stay at Heritage Homestay for the Singhs. This is a really nice family. Despite the fact that I only stayed overnight, they went out of their way to be good to me— and to the two other women who were staying with them at the same time. Between us, we inadvertently visited... More

This old English officers residence, is a quiet oasis in a hectic city. When you have struggled with the crowds and salesmen at Taj Mahal, it is really comforting to rest at the Heritage Homestay. The rooms are simple but clean, quite spacious and with western toilet and shower with warm water. Our son got sick after our checkout, but... More
