Capoor's is not a great hotel but its location is ideal and convenient, right at the heart of shopping and eating places and walking distance to most of the historic places. Capoor's give you a decent buffet breakfast and the dinner in their Nawab restaurant is tasty and wholesome. But one shouldn't eat always at this hotel lest you should miss the famed Lucknowi cuisine that's available at Hazaratgunj, starting with the great kulfi that's served just outside this hotel entrance. My husband and I being walking freaks, we always look for parks to take a brisk morning walk. You'll find excellent parks near Capoor's. Early one morning we just walked to Residency Ruins (a must for all history enthusiats), found the massive gate open for us to explore the ruins in peace and loneliness. more
