hotel in a quieter area behind the train station - about 20 minutes or more to the ghats depending on the traffic which is normally chaotic. lovely rooms, good breakfast, good service, no problems at all. more

Stayed in this hotel during our pilgrimage tour in India. Nothing extraordinary. Eventhough exterior look suggest very posh hotel, it is avarage in terms of Room,Service & Restaurent. Menu is basically caters Indians & not much choice for non-indians. more

First impression was possitive. Lobby and rest of hotel looks nice. The rooms looked nice at first sight also. Clean and wide. But they gave us twin beds instead of double beds as it was actually booked. By asking them to change them we noticed that the receptionist personnel was very rude and unhelful. Found the property very good, both for buisness and leisure. The rooms are very comfortable with excellent beddings. The resturants are well furnished will an excellent artificial water fall overlooking the open section. The food is also a gourmets delight. Pros: nice room, free WiFi, and over 140 channels on TV. Restaurant is very good and inexpensive (dinner under US$20 for 2). Cons: Bathroom needs updating (aged facilities, mold in caulking-but no worse than I've had at home at times). No free bottled water. Hard beds. In spite of the cons, I liked this place.
