The location of Puri Saron is beautiful. Some of the best rice paddies are around and the rooms boast magnificent views of forest-clad slopes. BUT - nice views don't make a resort. The location is lovely if you are looking for total privacy. Beautiful panoramic views of rainforest from the living area and both bedrooms in the villa. In the distance you can hear the waterfall and the children bathing and playing. The birds singing, ghekkos, squirrels are amazing - but then when night falls so are the mosquitos and man eating... more

The bad news about this place is we both got food poisoning from the chicken meal they cooked us. As I write this review 1 week after we stayed there I am still recovering! It wrecked the rest of our holiday, whenever I think about that place I shiver. However this resort is good value for money. We paid US$55... more
