We walked about and found this place just off Jalan Legian - most happening road at night in Kuta. The rooms are grouped around a simple garden quadrangle. Our first night was a little noisy because some other guests were having a party but subsequent nights were peaceful.
Rates : Rp80k for room with fan, Rp150k w A/C and Rp160k for A/C and hot shower. We sprung for the A/C and hot shower. The former worked fine but the latter took a while to warm up and was little more than a trickle. Murphy's law made it that when we complained and the staff (polite) came to look, it flowed but when it came time for us to use it, the shower trickled. Didn't make a difference when we switched to cold showers. I would definitely recommend the A/C because Kuta in June is just hot, hot, hot!
You have a little balcony outside your room. Aluminium towel rack. Cupboards were a little shoddy. Bathroom had a bath (with some rust stains). Shower head holder at waist level only.
