Discovery Plaza is a 20 year old hotel on the Kuta beach. The location could'nt be better as there is a lovely mall right next door with lots of shopping and eating option. The hotel is located at a very strategic place as there is everything such as restaurants, pubs, shopping mall, convenient shops nearby, & the beach is just right in fronf of the pool. We found the Kartika a large hotel with friendly staff and all the facilities that you would require. It is in a good location for shopping at Discovery Plaza and close to Waterbom. Have stayed here twice now. Like it a lot but wouldnt say I love it. The sunken pool bar & the immaculate grounds are the best asset of this hotel. The rooms are spacious, as is the bathroom. We travelled as a family with teenage children ,a daughter and son aged 17 and 16 and we all loved the Kartika. Kids keep asking when they can go back.
