You really get what you pay for with this place. Interestingly I managed to secure a room for US$23 a night for 1 night on my way to Medewi a few hours away. A friend paid US$30 and another paid US$40 for the same type of room all booking with different engines. The rooms are big, high ceilings and old.... more
I stayed at Balisandy Cottages for 4days 3 nights (alone n 1st time in Bali). You have to walk a few narrow lanes before you reach the beach or other shopping areas (less than 5mins).
