Away from the hustle and bustle of Southern Bali, the coastline of Northern Bali is still pristine with natural sandy beaches, mountain and waterfalls. The Lovina Beach is renowned for dolphin watching, diving, snorkeling, and spectacular backdrop for sunset watching. From here, you can charter a boat to Menjangan island, home to amazing preserved coral reef. Drive to the streets of Ubud, where plenty of shops selling traditional handicrafts, wood carvings, jewellery and paintings. At its heart, Melamun Hotel is an excellent place to enjoy your experience of the 'untouched' Bali. Melamun Hotel, with its lush garden setting, superb facilities and impeccable service, offers privacy and tranquility. Rejuvenate your mind and body in our Sundara Chocolate Spa. Unwind with a fine meal and glass of wine in our Istana Nelayan Restaurant. Melamun Hotel is the place for you to enjoy your holiday and give you a glimpse of how the contemporary and the classic are intertwined on this legendary island.

Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

This is a boutique style hotel with bungalows overlooking the pool and gardens. Easy check-in, all in readiness for our arrival and we were enjoying our accommodation in short time. Staff friendly and helpful, trainees very enthusiastic and keen to please and be helpful. Quiet and peaceful. Room maintained very clean and hygienic. Bed comfortable and we enjoyed restful sleep. The restaurant was only open for breakfast, the bar not functioning. Few restaurants and cafes open in the vicinity due to the adverse effects of Covid.

We went to Singaraja and we spent a night in Melamun Hotel. The room was good, AC was good and it has a bathtub. All the staff was helpful, the pool was not so big but enough, the restaurant only open for breakfast. You need to walk about 5 minutes to reach the beach or convenience store. And if you come by your own car, the parking lot is not quite spacious. Will stay here next time.

Before I start, I must say if this hotel is not a 5 stars hotel. Not a 5 stars Resorts. And NOT in Kuta nor Seminyak. Take that as a baseline of review vs expectation as I see there's a lot of people reviewing a not even 4 stars hotel with a 5 stars standard and expectation. This is my second stay here. 1. Room is comfy and has all that you need to stay. Mini Fridge, Safety Box, LCD TV with International Channels and Decent WiFi. It also has international power plug as standard. You won't need a plug adaptor. 2. Bathroom is spacious. Equipped with Bath Tub and separate shower. Toilet also using a Toto Standard with an Eco Flush which I think a bit too fancy for this hotel standard. What I love the most is decent Hot water. Cleanliness is not spotless, but acceptable. 3. Pool is Not Large, but it's enough for quick dip and relax. It also has shallow part with border. My son loves it. 4. Food is not 5 Stars, but DECENT. I love their Fried Noodle. 5. Staffs are observant, helpful, polite and friendly. They looked at my son and wife wants to dip into the pool and automatically delivers us pool towels. We don't even need to ask. In Overall, this is a value of money and very decent, comfortable and relaxing hotel, located in a prime location of Singaraja. Only 10 minutes walk for morning boat ride to see the dolphin and Hotel staff can assist you to book as well. I have stayed in a City Hotel which is in down town Singaraja cost 35% cheaper, but No Bath Tub, small capsule bathroom, squeaking toilet, awful and unstable WiFi, awful TV channel and quality, 50% smaller room and since it's a city hotel, it holds more than 50 rooms which cause the pool will be crammed with guests. So take that as a comparison of your expectation. Again, this is a review against it's own standard. Not a review of 5 stars expectation vs a 3 stars standard.

The staff were amazing. The cottage is very spacious, there is a giant bathtub and VERY hot water, be carefull (you could cook eggs in the water out of the tap, not kidding) it's a very short walk to the beach where the boats leave every morning to see the dolphins. ask at the desk and they will set you up. They can also arrange a driver. I went to the night market and the traditional morning market as well as the Krissna amusment park that is close. I'll be going back again. very relaxing and great change of pace from the south of the island.

Stay one night for family trip to Singaraja City. The hotel was very small less than 15 rooms i think, not a new hotel but just renovated so looks like a new one! The room was good, clean, big enough and has a very good bath room complete with the bathup inside. Luckily i got the room exactly in front of the pool and my daughter was so happy. The breakfast was standard. What i like most form this hotel was the ambience so relax and so quiet.

We spent 3 nights here and loved it - we had a warm welcome from the staff and delicious chocolate welcome drinks brought to our room. The staff were more than happy to help arrange our transport into the town for food on the first night, and then book us the free transport that was provided by the restaurant the following two nights. It was also my boyfriends fathers birthday when we were there, and we took a little birthday sign on the table to for him and straight away the staff were asking who it was and if we wanted them to write happy birthday on his breakfast plate - it was such a lovely, friendly gesture. Clean and spacious rooms - the lights in the bedroom weren't overly bright so I would have to do my make up in the bathroom due to the better lighting We would definitely stay here again :)
