This is a stunning hotel, but eerily deserted. We were the only guests at the time, which wouldn't have bothered us, but we felt like we were imposing on the staff. For example, there are no tvs in the room, so we went to watch the news in the communal tv room for 1/2 hour, the staff made a big performance about having to leave the room...it is a guest tv room!!! They were always in there...in the end its just not worth disturbing them. Similarly, when we checked in, we asked if we could pay extra to have an ocean view room...we were the only guests at the hotel, and quite happy to pay more, but the staff said no. The restaurant was overpriced with a very limited menu (3 choice of mains). The views are lovely, the pool is nice but if you want a beautiful isolated hotel, there are many better ones in Bali to visit...see my reveiew of Gajah Minah in Balian, or go to a hotel in Amed.
