reasonable location down a dark alley. the property was tidy but not well cleaned . staff were more attentive to the pool table than cleaning up. i killed cockroaches on first day ,and left them to be cleaned up. on the second day i moved them to a more prominent location in the centre of the bathroom. breakfast dishes from... more

Just back from our second time at Prima. The first time, (My wife, myself, daughter, son in law and two grandkids ) we were made so welcome by Magda and Vicky that it was a no brainer where we would stay this time. Again we were made to feel at home the whole stay. The staff are very friendly, the... more

I stayed here twice whilst I was doing some work in Indonesia. Magda and Vicky do a great job of making you feel very welcome indeed - down to playing poker by candle light when the power goes off in Sanur (which doesn't happen very often...) You are more like a 'member' of the extended Prima Cottage clan rather than... more

This is a good choice if you want to be near the beach and are willing to sacrifice some luxury items. The property is very quiet and nicely landscaped. It is located about 100 meters from the beach, on the other side of the main road running along the beach. You need to walk down a dark residential street, but... more

We stayed at Prima Cottage 22/09/09 to 26/09/09 after having stayed in Kuta for 9 days prior. On our arrival we we were made to feel very welcome and were shown to our first floor room 7A with balcony. The Hotel is not on the main street, so is relatively quiet. (We actually heard a rooster crow inthe distance, something... more

Stayed 5 nights here. Thoroughly enjoyed having a charming bungalow situated with garden outlook. The staff were very friendly but not well trained. Everything was clean - room, pool area, restaurant. Downside was the OLD bathroom in the bungalow - quite off putting - and the very basic restaurant menu. My objection was the price - upon investigation I found... more

I stayed at Prima Cottages as a luxury place to stay, as i had been backpacking around Asia. This hotel is brilliant if you are on a budget, it has everything you will ever need. I stayed in a room with a double bed, air conditioning and an ensuite bathroom. The height of luxury for me, it even had 3... more

We spent 4 nights in Prima cottage and even if the staff was welcomed, there is a lack of professionalism... The room was not really clean and no specific attention is provided to detail like bed sheets or towels......This is more an hotel for backpackers than family expecting comfort and reactivity. The location is okay, from 5-7 min to the... more

We needed one night in Sanur before catching the Scoot boat across to Nusa Lembongan and didn't want anything too expensive, so this place fitted the bill nicely. The manager, Vicky, is actually a Balinese man who is a bit of a colorful character - especially his shirts! We had a standard room which included hot water and air con.... more

If you want somewhere to stay that is somewhere between the cheap and not so cheerful Backpacker scene but not Five Star Beach Front Accommodation then Prima is for you. The Hotel itself is lovely, the gardens are very well maintained with lovely touches of colour and the odd statue dotted around. It's off the main road so it's quiet... more
