I stayed in 3 different places in UBUD to try different experiences and I found Lady Bamboo so comfortable and easy to get around that I stayed there an extra day. Reki, the Lady B,is outgoing, helpful and funny and taught a wonderful cooking class resulting in a tasty dinner to which other guests were invited- so everyone could meet... more

Great value for money, easy access to Ubud markets, monkey forrest and main street. The bad feedback given by one lady is unwarranted.. I checked out on the same day and over heard her rant..this place is simple, clean and good value for money. If you want a 7-star palace then stay at the Hilton and pay thousands.. more

My partner and I had a truly memorable stay at Lady Bamboo. It is beautifully situated just off the main centre of Ubud, tucked away down a small lane. The rooms are spacious, clean, and well kept. The staff are polite and considerate, with the owners Reki and Lambert being gracious hosts. Our stay was a mixture of work and... more

We stayed for five days in the Ladybamboo and enjoyed it very much. Our nice room was spacious and comfortable. We had a delicious breakfasts daily and we really loved the Cafe Latte and the Pancakes. The location, down a quiet lane, is a five minute walk to the center of Ubud. Also the rice paddy walk is in a... more

Reki and Lambert run a lovely B&B in the heart of Ubud. It's right in the middle of things (albeit down a small lane -- bring a flashlight out with you at night if you want to be extra careful). The rooms are stylish and adorned with lovely art and textiles (much of which comes with a story or five... more

This place is a one to advice! I stayed ther with my friends, and and baby. Lambert provided a small bed / crib, so the baby had her own place to sleep! Lady Bamboo, a small and quit place in the middle of Ubud, with a pool that has a view over the 'jungle'! The rooms are provided with everything... more

Me and my wife stayed at Lady Bamboo in July 2009. Because of an accident my wife had at the villa we want to warn other travelers staying there. This is what happened: Behind the door in the wall next to the swimmingpool there is a path leading up to some of the rooms. At night this path is poorly... more

Dear Visitor, Your room in Ubud was not part of the Ladybamboo Villa, rather of the property next door. We helped to get you accommodated despite late booking. We also helped your wife and called a Western doctor, arriving within 10 minutes. Sorry that you seem to have often problems with accommodations as all reviewed by you are to 'avoid'....

After travelling through Java having followed the lonely planet step by step we really needed a comfortable place to stay to recover. Especially since the lonely planet directed us to some really crappy and dirty hotels!! Midrange they say and the commentary was very positive...what a joke. The last holiday with the LP for us! Lambert, Reki and the staff... more

Lady Bamboo Villa was the third hotel we stayed at while in Bali; and by far Lady Bamboo Villa was the best out of the three. We made a last-minute change to Lady Bamboo as the other hotel we were planning on didn't quite have the facilities we were looking for, and after some quick research found Lady Bamboo. So... more

Location alone Lady Bamboo is excellent. Being just a 5 min walk from Ubud main road and markets it is incredibly handy to everything in Ubud. Located at the end of a long drive way off a side street, the villa is mainly surrounded by bamboo and native forest. So while being close to town your still out of earshot... more
