The service was excellent, staff friendly and very accommodating, and the grounds and room very appealing. I would definitely go back if I were in the area. Knowing the service of this location, I would check out their other locations if I were in the area.

Actually 2.5 stars. The hotel is more an homage to the owner's personal collection of Chinese, not particularly Javanese, collection of mementos and artifacts.
