I recently stayed here with 3 girlfriends. We live currently in Indonesia and are aware of the varying standards. Hotel Ciputra is part of the Swiss Bell Hotel chain. MY family was staying in Ciputra Hotel in September 2007. We loved the location of the hotel that linked to the shopping mall next door. The staff were courteous and helpful always. Room was comfortable, shower was good. Facilities a little worn at edges. Staff was friendly and helpful. Buffet breakfast was great, though I wished for fresh juices instead. It is my third time staying with Ciputra Hotel in Semarang. It is located right in the middle of Semarang city at SIMPANG LIMA (Five-way Junction). The city-view rooms are facing the huge park where the Semarangs have all the big events,..If you are lucky you can watch "Dangdut show" from your room.
