Rooms are spacious with a tiny bit of wear in the bathrooms. Otherwise gorgeous hotel with well trained staff. The Japanese Restaurant with Fera (a server) and Dwi (Dwee) the manager are outstaniding. Tepanyaki is outtstanding - definitly have them make your meal. I travel to Surabaya regularly on business and usually stay at the Shangri La Hotel. On my last trip I decided I needed a change and tried the JW Marriott. I was pleased I did. Great hotel. The rooms were larger than average and done tastefully. However, to be honest the pinstripes (?) on the couch don't really appeal to my sense of style. For the price, the room was a pleasant surprise. It is beautifully furnished, with a sofa set, granite and spacious bathroom, plush and plentiful towels.
