Overall, Yasin is a nice place to go to for a quick weekend getaway, if your idea for a good weekend getaway is just to sit around drinking beer, chatting and essentially doing nothing. Bring your own beer and snacks if you want to save some money. These you can pick up at the town itself on your way to... more

If you are looking for something quiet and nothing much to do.. Maybe this is the place to go once Service - Despite the fact that the service staff there have a bit of communication problem (sometimes) but they are thoughtful and very friendly. Even when you are not a guest of their sister resort (Agro Beach), you'll definitely get... more

If you are a backpacker on a tight budget wanting to stay for 1/2 day's then this may not be for you. They don't tell you before, but they charge to pick you up from the ferry and take you back. No, it is not a free service. You are looking at 180,000 R there and 180,000 R back. This... more

The keyword in its name is NOSTALGIA.. back to a time of simple living without the frills.. At least that's what we got for the wooden water bungalows.. basic stilt huts over the water, no aircon, no hot water, and a toilet bowl without the modern flush system (You need to scoop water from a bucket and throw).. so if... more

The room I got is very basic. There is no hot water, the toilet has no flush.. yeah... The room has a matress on the floor and a small table. The meals are charged to your room number and paid during check-out. I found a few extra bills charged to me which i never had them. Guess some other guest... more

I always thought going to Bintan is expensive... but after browsing through the web, I found Nostalgia Yasin. The rates quoted are pretty cheap and from the description, it's a pretty decent place. From the pictures they look okay but when I arrive and see it with my own eyes... WOW.. BEAUTIFUL Natural landscape!! what a paradise!? It's located at... more

After a recommendation by a friend, my boyfriend & I decided to go for a short weekend getaway & check out Yasin Bungalows. We did not have much expectations to the place as it was supposed to be a pretty basic place. Anyway, I decided to upgrade our accomodation to the Deluxe Water Wooden Bungalow & it was worth the... more
