Overall, the stay was comfortable but the service crews can perform better. Especially for the morning breakfast as they're not attentive enough. They are slow in clearing the table and replacing the utensil. Need to wait for awhile before can find a seat but the environment are cozy and spacious. Nothing special. more

Agree with previous reviews, Lift from Ground lobby to the hotel reception at 9 FL, so desperate, only 2 lift, and very slowwww, For Breakfast, Real Fresh OJ which is free flow is quite exceptional, and quite good selection of food as expected for standard 5 star hotels. Stayed here three times on the way to and from Bukit Lawang and on our return from Lake Toba. Being cosseted on the 9th floor made the bustle of Medan a lot more bearable. Breakfasts quite excellent, evening meal was pretty good, but as we overheard some other guests say, "too many big numbers" (for Indonesia). Staff were quite wonderful... more

The Aryaduta is a fine hotel. The hotel is new, which also means that the spa and sauna are not open yet. Breakfast is a good selection, including smoked salmon and lovely fresh orange juice.
