I loved this place. Beautiful grounds, lovely architecture, friendly hosts (Diana and Dirk) - the pictures at te hotel website, lovely as they are, don't really do it justice. The proprietors Diana and Dirk will organize your trip in advance, just tell them what you your interests are by email. From here you can visit Lake Toba, Mt. Leuserk, go river rafting, walk to a nearby archeological site. The atmosphere is wonderful - music wafting out of the open air lounge when a visiting pianist takes a turn at the great-sounding new Yamaha upright. Beautiful main building and lovely quity comfortable CLEAN!!! rooms. more
