I saw some saying that bed sheets were dirty and not washed but they do wash. Stayed for 2 nights and saw them washing and changing. Owners are great and funny. Make sure you negotiate over prices including ojeck to the volcano. I asked Brian(husband) to book a bus to Bajawa. He said 150k which l did not believe. He... More

I stayed 3 nights in Room 1 and had no complaints. The doona kept me warm in the cold night, the mosquito net kept any insects away, the room was clean and there was plenty of water to wash. Laundry service also. But i liked best the hospitality of the family who runs it.

The rooms are very basic,.. maybe the sheets are not so clean, but we have stayed in worse. The family owners were very helpful and looked after us well when we stayed (maybe they liked our money). We were the only guests at the time. We used the family motorbikes (Ojeks) to go up to Kelimutu and they drove very... More

We stayed in Hidayah for 1 night during our trans-Flores trip since it is located in the village of Moni, very close to the three coloured volcano lakes called Kelimutu. The place is extremely basic and for sure not the cleanest one in Indonesia... The rooms are spacious with an open corner with shower & toilet (unfortunately not working properly);... More

We lodged here last September following the recomendations of Lonely Planet guide, but I will not believe this guide too much in the future. The room is so basic that you could have more comodities camping in a tent in a National Park in Australia. It is dirty, I am sure that they do not change the sheets of the... More

Moni is a small village on a distant island Island. We can't ask too much from Hotels, services, etc. Booking a transport is not that easy but expensive as well. You must book with the hotel owner and don't have any other choice. OtherHotels won't make bussines with you The first cuestion you are done is : what hotel do... More

I followed the recommendations of the lonely Planet to book this place and definitely I think I made a mistake. From a positive point of view, I have to say that staff is great, helpful, nice, funny...everything positive. Also the restaurant is very good although too slow. However the rooms are very poor and not very clean. Toilet facilities are... More

This is an extremely basic accommodation. The room was clean but in poor conditions. The toilet wasn't working and the shower was useless. A lot of insects and geckos will keep you company. Great location if you have to visit the Kelimutu craters lakes. Very cheap.

A nice spacious cleanish room, with a big open-plan bathroom and flushing toilet and a handbasin in the room. Be aware that they don't supply toilet paper or soap. There were also no towels in the room, asked for some and got one (between 2). Have your shower before the sun goes down as there is just cold water and... More

Nice, simple hotel for catching a few hours of sleep before the classic pre-dawn trek to Kelimutu. The room was large, sparsely furnished and clean as was the bathroom. We returned mid-morning after the hike for a cold shower and a breakfast of banana pancakes, fruit and coffee. Breakfast was served in the typical Flores way, on the deck in... More
