I strongly recommend the Fauzi Azar. Good service, marvelous breakfast - take it -, very clean and comfortable. Efficient, helpfull and friendly staff. Good for staying there if you are making the Jesus trail or if you have a car to go around Galilee. more

I think the title of this review says it all! We were very excited to stay at this hostel after seeing its website. First geting there is almost impossible. No one and I mean no one had any clue where this hostel was located. When we finally got there, tired and hungry from a long day of travelling what did... more

We booked the private double room at the Fauzi Azar through bookhostels.com. When we arrived, we were told that this room was unavailable and that we could occupy the four-bed private room for an extra charge! No joke. After a cup of tea and some persistence, we were given the four-bed w/ bathroom at no extra charge. The room was... more

I had an amazing stay at the Fauzi Azar Inn. Everyone was very helpfull and nice, Gabi and Suraida in particular. We had a private double room, which was very charming and clean. Upon arrival we were even a little bit sorry that we didn't book a bed in dormitory - they were lovely and we met some great people... more

For three young college girls trying to travel through Israel on a budget, this hostel was PERFECT. The Inn is warm and welcoming, with a chill vibe. We were greeted with big mugs of tea and a tour of the digs when we arrived travel-weary during the night, which was an excellent touch. The rooms are phenomenal. Spacious, airy, and... more

Buried deep in alleyways of the Old Town, we (a couple in our 30s), found that the Inn was just as described on their website: A renovated charming, mellow inn housed in some of the major rooms of a formerly stunning villa. All areas to be used by guests were renovated, safe and clean, with the very charming old character... more

I guess I wasn't as impressed as others were. Maybe I'm too old already! This place had a nice college student vibe. Perhaps if I had been staying the communal rooms, it would have been more what I was expecting. I was with my husband and we stayed in one of the private rooms with a bathroom. Although the hosts... more

Had never stayed in this type of arrangement before (hostel-ish) so wasn't sure how things worked on arrival; no front desk, no clear understanding of who was in charge. However, it all worked well. My son and I were welcomed with a great glass of Bedouin tea and shown to our room. Because of the low price of a bed/night,... more

Sweet communal air even prevailed the sadness of losing my favorite jumper on the way. Will stay there anytime in Nazareth. more

The inn is a charming haven of high frescoed ceilings, large windows, and low-key comfort in the old city of Nazareth. Despite being very close to the market (which has lovely fruit and vegetables, and more kitsch than is imaginable), it is tranquil and quiet (occasionally interupted by church bells). We'd definitely recommend this place for a weekend of exploring... more
