I stayed at the Rappeport Guest house for a week in June. It was perfect for me - a single female traveler looking for a reasonably priced accomodation.
There are two attached rooms - small but comfortable - one with a comfortable queen size bed, another with a single bed that I used for a dressing room. The bathroom and shower were small but fine for me.
The guest rooms are on the ground floor of Laurie Rappeport's home. It has a private entrance through the front yard - a lovely space with two beautiful huge trees surrounded by a limestone cobbled wall, (the kind of stone you see all over Safed). There are two sweet and lively dogs that are part of the Rappeport family (and sometimes in the yard) so you have to be comfortable with dogs - oh and also a tortoise who lives in the yard!
