SAFED: RUTH RIMONIM We just loved this hotel. It was old, but in a wonderful, homey, classy way. Too much emphasis on lavish food selection but then they charge you for coffee on a prepaid dinner !!! Daily INTERNET connection 17$...... In the new section cleanliness below average. Exercise room equipment old and falling apart. We paid 225$ a night including breakfast and dinner and feel robbed. more

I think because there are not many other choices for accommodations in Tzfat, the Ruth Rimonim gets away with over charging. We were surprised to see how small our room was. For the price we paid for the room, around $280/night, we also weren't thrilled that we had no view. We'd recommend making it a point to get a room... more
