Hotel Aviv is in a great location in Tiberias. It is barely a five minute walk from the Promenade that is bustling with a touristy-restaurants, gelato stands, and a mini-Bazzar. Right across from the beach where the beautiful Kinneret water lies.
But with Aviv comes some problesm. 1) Service- the employees there are pretty surly and uninformative. Typical of ISraeli fashion, they give quick answers, tell you not to worry, and will complelety ignore you or tell you to leave or wait if they are bust. (As wehn my friend asked a question and Omri, the receptionist/manager said "Can't you see I am counting money?" ...nice touch, huh.)
They told us we had 300 shekel a night room for two rooms(we were a group of 8) then upon arrival we paid for one night, just in case a move was in order for the next night. Well, the next morning we were told that we shouldn't have done that because they didn't know and we missed the 10 am checkout and that made problems. The problem...
