This was the second Sheraton we stayed at while on an Isram trip (our first) to Israel. This was a very run down hotel, in desperate need of repair & upgrade. Musty and old smelling. We are members of the Starwood (Sheraton points) group; NO special accommodations were given to us, although while in Tel Aviv (staying at the Sheraton... more

We stayed here while on a tour of Israel, and this was by far the best hotel that we stayed in. The room was very clean and the bed was comfortable. The air conditioning was a very nice respite from the humid atmosphere in early August. The food was very good, and there was plenty of choice to suit most... more

We found this hotel on the day we needed to stay there, having had a look around the other similarly classed hotels on the lakeshore. It was by far the best value for money (although i understand that the unrenovated rooms aren't great). The room was very smart and comfortable, had a posh flatscreen and all the amenities. Only issue... more

This was by far the nicest hotel we stayed in during our tour of Israel in June of 2008. Not only was our room nice, but the bed was very comfortable and the food was above average. We also stayed in the Sheration Moriah in Tel Aviv (only ok) and the Crowne Plaza in Jerusalem (below average). Right on the... more

Our room was spacious with a nice view of the sea. It was standard though a bit dated. The bed was comfortable and overall the room provided everything we needed. And the location was good. Our main complaint was the noise!! And I am not usually the type of person who has to have everything super quiet. But this was... more

We came as part of a tour group. We found the carpet dirty and the room in general needing a good cleaning. We had some noise problems and called the desk. They did not respond. The next day we complained again, and they acted on them and that situation improved. But for many of us the rooms really needed some... more

Stayed here for one night as part of our Isram Tour package. We arrived late in the afternoon. The hotel is only a short walk from the hustle and bustle of downtown Tiberias, with lots of shops and restaurants right nearby. Our room overlooked the small park adjacent to the Sea of Galilee and a street filled with small shops.... more

This room might be comfortable for people from warm climates who need heat in this weather. The problem is that I am visiting from a much cooler climate and I find this room uncomfortably hot. Most hotels let you adjust the temperature of the hotel room, but this hotel does not. (They told me that the air conditioning works in... more

As part of our recent holiday my wife, two children and myself had a four night stay at this hotel and thoroughly enjoyed it. We had interconnecting superior rooms with a wonderderful view of the lake. The rooms were well done, very clean and serviced promptly each morning. The hotel was pretty full while we were there but an unduly... more

Firstly, you should understand that Tiberias is a one-horse town, but a great base for exploring the North of Israel. However, the review is of the hotel and not the location. Located one-minute from 'everything', the siting of the hotel is superb and with parking available for US$2.00 a day, (or free if a reserved space is available?), taking a... more
