First of all, I read the reviews and understand that people from all walks of life and all countries rate hotels on a basis that is not mine or yours. I have no problems with this hotel...There I said it. No problems! We arrived in Israel very late, a total of 5 hours late due to problems in Atlanta. We... more
Stayed here as part of a group tour, which the hotel obviously caters too. Rooms really varied in size & view, so look at it before you check in. Food served buffet for lunch & dinner to tour groups was pretty good. The hotel is about a 30 minute walk from town, located on the shores of the Sea of... more
After staying in this hotel many times since 2004- once each year with an American pilgrim Group. we find this hotel very comfortable. It has been recently renovated and the rooms are clean and comfortable. The dining room is lovely and food is deliciious. The location lends a perfect view of The Sea of Galilee. The... more

The room was lovely - everyting worked including the showers and the air con. The food was varied and there was something for everyone. The white wine was atrocious - riesling or riesling/colombard (the latter was for european taste yuk). Please supply some sauvignon blanc or something dry. The red merlot was lovely. The english bar is a joke -... more
We stayed here because the tour company booked it. It must have been a good price for them. Here are a few of the problems: 1. The a/c didn't work. We were told not to open the windows because it was "mosquito season". 2. No clock in the room. 3. Bathroom towels were newspaper thin. 4 The TV was leftover... more
Little did I realize that this would be the best hotel on my tour of Israel. At the time I was staying here, I would have said that this hotel was an average hotel. But, in comparisson with the others chosen by the tour operator, this was the best. Unfortunately, the hotel is not close to anything else. After your... more
