I stayed at the Gai Beach Hotel for 3 nights in March of 2009 while on a pilgrimage through the Holy Land in Israel and the West Bank. The Gai was beautiful. It is in the northern part of the country right on the banks of the Sea of Galilee. It has a huge, open lobby with a general seating... more

I do not usually stay at big resorts. However, I was with a tour group when I stayed here for 3 nights. The food far exceeded my expectations. Very varied and good. The room was as expected with a flat screen. The resort was very clean and bright. I was disappointed to leave. more

Our visit to the Holyland was wonderful and our stay at the Gai Beach Hotel was refreshingly wonderful. The rooms were good and the view and proximity to the Sea of Galilee was wonderful. The area is beautiful and the people were friendly. Our favorite hotel on our trip. more

I stayed at the Gai Beach for 5 nights in May 2008. My stay was a part of a 2 week study tour in Israel with a group of 300 people. The Gai Beach is situated directly on the shore of the Sea of Galilee. This provides some awesome views, especially in the morning. The hotel is clean and well... more

We stayed at this resort for 6 days. Attached is a water slide park with beach which is perfect for kids. Lifeguards are everywhere so we felt comfortable for our 3 little ones. I must admit that the rooms are small however clean and tidy. Dont arrive with too much luguage as you will be hard pressed to find room... more

When we arrived at the Gai Beach, I was a bit nervous that we had made a mistake -- it is a very Israeli hotel (there was only one other American family in the hotel when we were there and not all the staff spoke fluent english; they did not sell english newspapers in the giftshop), and the rooms were... more

The hotel has a lot to offer to its visitors: small water park with several pools, jacuzzi, sauunas, etc' However, the staff isn't that great and it sometimes feels like they're actually doing you a favor... The standard room is average, but ok. Don't expect anything special around here. The hotel feels a bit "tired" of having visitors around and... more

Best hotel I stayed at in Israel. Practically perfect. Mainly Israeli guests (this is a plus). It's a secret gem. Great for families BUT allow time off from touring so that kids and you can relax in pool, Lake Kinneret, or the water park. Highly recommended! more

In February 2000, I had travelled to Israel on a Pilgrimage Tour of the Holy Land. Throughout our travelles we had stayed in many hotels in different cities. On the last days of our two week stay, we had stopped in Tiberias. Not knowing much about this little city which sits along the 32-mile shoreline of the Sea of Galilee,... more
