When on Mahe,a car is an absolute necessity if you are to see all the beaches (unless you are using the public transport which is an alternative). The resort itself is very charming, set upon a hill among rocks and palms,stylishly furnished. In comparison to other resorts,it is the most beautiful and definately best value for money,considering the high prices... more

The Resort is in a beautiful location, quiet, secuded just perfect for the a relaxing holiday in paradise. The staff couldn't be more helpful. It is a family run resort who are always there to deal with all your needs, nothing being too much trouble. In our opinion the best on the Island. Roz & Sam UK more

Just arived from 2 weeks at Seychelles. We stayed at La digue and Mahé island. Valmer resort is a very nice hotel with new renovated rooms and wounderful view over the ocean. The rooms are big and very *fresh* and luxury. They have two swiming pools. One down the hill and one big beautiful at the top of the hill.... more

The resort is quite new (I think about 1 year old) and the rooms are very nice, spacious and well equipped; good sea view, but not walking distance to the beach and a lot of steps from the parking to the rooms toward the top of the resort. It's perfect if you are planning to hire a car to visit... more
