We'll send you updates with the latest deals, reviews and articles for Hotel L'Archipel and Praslin Island each week.
We stayed at four different hotels during our two weeks in the Seychelles, and L'Archipel was our favourite. The setting - at the end of a private road, the hotel facilities and rooms spread up a landscaped hillside (all rooms have good views of the sea) - was beautiful and peaceful and the staff very friendly and helpful. Some rooms... more
Stayed with wife two sons and their partners. Hotel rooms were excellent and cant fault them in any way. Hotel is on a lovely beach. Food was average at times but overall good. As in previous reviews the drinks are a 'Rip Off' We expect to pay more in Hotels, but this Hotel charges at least 6 times the prices... more
We looked hard to find a boutique hotel in Praslin, and L'Archipel met all our wishes. The hotel is small - for Seychelles standards - as it features only 20-30 rooms, and has a very sophisticated feeling throughout. The main hall is meters from the beach, and most times you will have your breakfast on a table in the sand... more
We only went to the hotel for drinks and dinner, but were very impressed. Service was fantastic, and the staff very friendly and helpful. The food was excellent - some of the best seabass you could hope to taste! Presentation lovely. The only negative was the guy providing live music up in the bar by the pool. Too loud, and... more
We loved L'Archipel - beautiful location and lovely little hotel - we had a great room also - one of the larger, self-contained ones (not the duplex style ones where you have someone above or below you - name of our chalet was Cachéé in case you want to bear that in mind). The hotel itself is lovely setting; the... more
Excellent location, VERY QUIET, no kids running around, few rooms which means few tourists and in general a perfect place for a romantic getaway or for honeymooners. I stayed at their Senior Suite, it was around 100 m², little ants everywhere, decoration inside was non-existent but I wouldn't believe for a moment that someone would trade decoration for the incomparable... more
This is a nice hotel, but not worth the price. We were upgraded to a suite, but even here the decor, fittings and furniture are in need of updating. A couple of other points... 1. Seychelles uses UK-style plug sockets, but L'Archipel supplies appliances (like mosquito repellers) that are two-pin. On the first day I was told I could not... more
My husband and I stayed at L'Archipel for 4 nights in late August. The setting is absolutely beautiful with the duplexes spread out around the grounds. After walking all the way up the beach and seeing the other various hotels, I would say L'Archipel has the best setting and oceanfront. It appeared many of the other hotels didn't even provide... more
We have just returned from our honeymoon in the Seychelles. We spent 7nights at L'Archipel on Praslin island. The hotel is absolutely brilliant... The rooms are set as small lodges scattered into the hillside, usually as little duplex houses reached by small pathways and a series of stairs. The rooms were beautiful consisting of a terrace with amazing views over... more
