Stayed with wife two sons and their partners. Hotel rooms were excellent and cant fault them in any way. Hotel is on a lovely beach. Food was average at times but overall good. As in previous reviews the drinks are a 'Rip Off' We expect to pay more in Hotels, but this Hotel charges at least 6 times the prices... more

We looked hard to find a boutique hotel in Praslin, and L'Archipel met all our wishes. The hotel is small - for Seychelles standards - as it features only 20-30 rooms, and has a very sophisticated feeling throughout. We only went to the hotel for drinks and dinner, but were very impressed. Service was fantastic, and the staff very friendly and helpful. Excellent location, VERY QUIET, no kids running around, few rooms which means few tourists and in general a perfect place for a romantic getaway or for honeymooners. I stayed at their Senior Suite, it was around 100 m², little ants everywhere, decoration inside was non-existent but I wouldn't believe for a moment that someone would trade decoration for the incomparable... more

This is a nice hotel, but not worth the price. We were upgraded to a suite, but even here the decor, fittings and furniture are in need of updating. A couple of other points... 1. My husband and I stayed at L'Archipel for 4 nights in late August. The setting is absolutely beautiful with the duplexes spread out around the grounds. After walking all the way up the beach and seeing the other various hotels, I would say L'Archipel has the best setting and oceanfront.
