We had a wonderful stay at this hotel, very secured. I cant think of one thing that wasnt done for us, the staff is a 5* star one. I would like to say the only thing I would like to see from it would been is a breakfast of some sort and free parking for the night or night stays.... more

This HGI feels like it might be the first HGI. I don't really know the date it was built but it is worn out and tired, from the carpets to the paint, furniture, and bathrooms. The thing with a moderately priced chain hotel: the newer the better; and that is seriously not happening here. more

Attended a conference at the hotel so I never left the premises. Rooms are spacious and clean. Meeting rooms are fine. Most noteworthy is the staff. Front desk, housekeeping and especially the waitstaff in the meeting rooms were all well informed, helpful and made us all feel welcome. I would be happy to attend another conference in this hotel. more

The oatmeal is excellent. Best I've had in any hotel. Service is good too. The only downside is the location. On the edge of a blighted neighborhood I didn't feel too safe outside the hotel doors. more

Whenever I have to be in Albany, I stay @ the Hilton Garden Inn at Albany Medical Center. It's one of (if not the) newest hotel in the area, and quite nice. Good: 1. Unexpectially had to admit spouse overnight at Albany Med. Ctr. A room was available and the front desk was very nice. Hotel is attached to hospital so no need to go outside. Room was very clean and had frig. and microwave and everything else that was expected. Very nice restaurant and a small area to buy snacks and extras that... more

Very nice property. Clean and decent size rooms. Nice pool but water was a bit cold... Nice tub as well. Buffet breakfast was so so... Friendly staff. A little bit noisy (you hear the other room doors close each time one does). Would definitly return again even with the noise. more
