About 20 years ago this was one of the best hotels in Sri Lanka, and although still OK, its a little dated and rough around the edges now. Stayed here for 4 days in November 2007 - had lovely clean, spacious rooms and the view from the outdoor area is fantastic - even if you don't stay here I'd recommend going for a meal, the food is lovely, traditional sri-lankan currys and loevely location to eat in.
