Only a few minutes by taxi from the airport. Large rooms, basic but clean. Large shower rooms ,and hot water too!! Lovely staff at the pool and restaurant, thought the reception staff could use a lesson in customer service. As with most Sri Lankan hotels, the Golden Star is getting a bit rough around the edges, but set right on... more
