The spendor was a nice very tall hotel but in a shanty neighborhood. I had an waterfront room. I was on business and was picked up and dropped off every day so I have no idea what really was around it. Stayed here for one night on business. The hotel is the tallest building in town, and you get a great view of the city no matter which side you're on. It's not the same as a 5-star hotel in a major city, but it's not bad for a place like Kaohsiung. The staff was very friendly and helpful. more
