We stayed at the Arumeru for two nights before starting our safari and I'm so glad we did because we were able to recover from jet lag after traveling for a full day and also visit Arusha Park, which was only 30 mins away. Garden setting, clean comfortable rooms, good food and friendly staff - we couldn't ask for more.... more
Having stayed in three other hotels in Tanzania during our trip and safari, this one came at the end. The Arumeru River Lodge is located outside of Arusha on very pleasant landscaped grounds. The beautiful main building houses the reception, restaurant and lounge area, while the accommodation is in the form of several 2-suite bungalows scattered across the grounds.
