I stayed with Joyce with friends for 3 nights and it was absolutely fantastic. The accommodation is situated in lush grounds with stunning views over a valley. She was as good a host as you could ask for and her cooking was unbelievable. This would be the first place I'd re-book if I ever came back to Tanzania.

one part of heaven is this lodge.the view is fantastic.there is a lot of birds and river sounds.it is so good for relaxing or honey moon.we tried african-veg food there(each meal per person 10$).it is far from city but you can call them to pick up you and use their van(each trip 10$).

Located just 3 miles away from downtown Arusha is this wonderful lodge. The owner Joyce treats her guests as family. Her cooking is simply amazing. You can relax in the tranquility of the scenic surroundings. On a clear day, Mt. Meru seems to be just steps away. I highly recommend Songota Falls.

Sue and I stayed with Joyce for three nights. The location over looking the valley is breath taking and as we relaxed in the open air restaurant we would look out for animals and birds. Meals times were a delight as Joyce would prepare some amazing dishes over an open fire. Many thanks for a wonderful stay.

Had a wonderful relaxing 2-day stay here at the end of a long trip in Tanzania and Uganda. Beautiful and peaceful spot--a nice break from the heat and bustle of Arusha. Our little cottage was comfortable, clean, and charming. Joyce the owner took great care of us and makes delicious food (including vegetarian)!
