We had a beautiful 1 night stay at the coffee lodge for our first night in Tanzania. When we arrived here we discovered that they had upgraded us from the standard room to a suite, which was amazing! However the suite only has a king bed,and travelling as mother and son, we booked and needed 2 beds, so what they... More

The perfect place to meet and greet friends for a coffee and the menu whilst good can be a bit pricy however the food quality is very good. The garden area provides some nice secluded tabled platforms with parasols and there is also a good childrens wooden jungle gym play area. Go for coffee and lunch and chill out.

I did not have the opportunity to stay here as the Lodge was fully booked. I met up with my travelling companions here for buffet lunch which had great spit roast meats. Most people sit outside under the huge parasols, which is very relaxing. Tea/coffee is free. At the end of my safari I had lunch here again and spent... More

We arrived at the Coffee lodge following a Dublin Amsterdam, Amsterdam Kilimanjaro, Kilmanjaro Arusha trip (last leg by road). We were met at kilimanjaro airport and brought by air conditioned private transfer. On arrival at 10.30pm we were greeted with warm scented towels to freshen up and what I guess to be an ice coffee (lovely). We were escorted by... More

I only had a chance to spend one jet lagged evening at the lodge, but would love to go back. Our room was really beautiful. It had a comfortable bed draped with mosquito netting and the bath was amazing. The little sitting area was wonderful. We had a great breakfast in the morning accompanied by curious monkeys on the roof.

This is an oasis, a gem of an hotel. the service was great - you are greeted with iced coffee as you check in - the restaurant is absolutely wonderful - I ate outside for dinner. I stayed in a suite (room 25) and the bathroom was impassable - I loved the shower, the airy feeling and openness of the... More

We recently stayed in this conveniently located lodge close to the airport and it was a fabulous place to relax after a long trip prior to leaving on Safari. The rooms are well appointed..showers are fantastic! Lighting is a bit dull but this seems to be standard in Tanzania! We had several meals in the restaurant and the food was... More
