Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

If you like mass tourism, this is the place for you. If you like crowded restaurants with all-inclusive tourists, this is the place for you. If you like places that don't accept credit cards, this is the place for you. I'll avoid this place next time.

This place was fantastic and I wish I had more times there and that I can go back some day. We arrived around 10 in the morning after a back-breaking overnight train trip from Bangkok, so we were very happy that early check-in was possible. And when we go to the room things just got even better; the room was BEAUTIFUL with the bed on a dais and covered by a moscito-net. And the room also had a fantastic view over the near-by mountains. The toilet and shower was two seperate rooms which had access from the main-room, but were "ourdoor"-rooms. The toilet even had a fantastic view over trees and mountains. The staff was friendly. The massage was good. The food was simple, but delicious. If you are physically impaired this hotel may be a little challenging, as it is on a hill-side with steep steps and sloaps.

This remote resort is unfortunately way too old & well below standard. We were booked here whilst doing a bike tour & advised it was 3 star....but nowhere near! Bathrooms were a cheap add-on....no hot water for hand basin & very dirty. Very basic accommodation. We wished that we could've ridden on, but after nearly 100kms, we didn't have the energy........& it was part of the tour!

The location is wonderful. The resort is overlooking the riverside and stone cliff. The rooms, single chalet, lie in green surrondings amongst lush vegetation. The rooms are large, basic and clean. The bathroom is outdoor, great shower. Simple dinner and breakfast with limited choices but good quality of food. Nice staff.

This was a real surprise in the hills, a 2 hour drive from Surat Thani. Being in the hills it was pleasantly cool. The accommodation was in cabins built onto the side of the hill facing the cliff. Once inside the cabin, you're faced with the wardrobe/hanging space, sink and mirror on your left. behind the sink is a semi outdoor, fully plumbed western style loo, honestly the only thing missing is a glass window. On the opposite side at the front of the chalet is a shower, again a natural stone floor and fully plumbed with a picture view of the cliff, no chance of being overlooked - enjoy the view. This wardrobe/hanging space mentioned earlier, behind this either side down two hard wood steps is the room, a hard wood floor with hardwood bedboard are large french windows leading onto full size veranda and a view down the hill to the cliff face. The soundtrack is that of the birds and cicadas of the jungle. There is no wifi in the rooms, only available in the reception bar area. My biggest regret here was not taking more photos

The hotel is situated at a beautiful location, overlooking the river, beautiful mountains and forests. The cabins are simple but OK. Everything you needs there. Breakfast is very nice and the kitchen for dinner is also very good. The employees are very kind and helpful. A nice place to stay, but althoughthe location is very nice, it is in the middle of nowhere.

We stayed here for three nights to use as a base to explore the area. The rooms are okay but mosi nets had holes in and some of staff made you feel like they were doing you a favour in serving you a drink. Restaurant was basic but the staff here were lovely and responsive, food was good and served in a timely way all of us able to eat together. A massive positive was no WiFi in rooms (we have teenage children) so meant that we were not having nag them about being on phones😀

Stopped off here only for lunch whilst enroute from Surat Thani to Phuket. Beautiful setting, the accommodation looked very nice as did the whole resort. Food was excellent and the setting was stunning, great place friendly staff, couldn't fault.

This hotel ideal place for the one whom want to escape from civilization, hustle and bustle. We stayed in single house with amazing Mountain View. The place look like from fairy tale and you are in hobbit houses. In the morning there was a fog, that make the felling very warm and cozy. there are incredible amount of greenery, the hotel is simply immersed in it. The restaurant very cozy atmosphere as well. have 1 swimming pool. There are a lot of places, where u can take very beautiful pictures. I wish to come back there again and for sure will recommend all my friends.

Depending on your purpose. Good for those looking for nature cos lots of trees. Downside comes with lots of huge mosquitoes. Accommodation seems abit 'flimsy'. We do not feel comfortable. Breakfast spread too limited. We had our dinner in the hotel restaurant, not very tasty and abit pricey.
