Booked New Lapaz on internet. I have some recommendations if you want to pre book. otherwise don't pre book, just shop around when you get there.
My husband and I are well travelled so feel qualified to comment so negatively on the Lapaz. We don't expect home from home in fact quite the opposite.
We did have a brilliant holiday but I would not recommend Lapaz, for several reasons:-.
If I was to give the hotel a star rating it would be a generous 2:star.
Apart from the dip pool all the rest of the hotel and rooms were shabby. The airconditioning broke down in our room so we had to be moved whilst it was repaired. Our bed linen and towels were threadbare, as were the so called beach towels.
The breakfast was of poor quality and quantity.
There is no beach when the tide is in, when the tide is out the sea bed is quite muddy don't bother taking mask and snorkel you can't see anything apart from sandbags.
Don't expect a lie in staff wake you up at 6am with...
