Avoid this hotel - there are cheaper places in Lamai Beach. Our bungalow, as well as the rest of the hotel, really needs to be renovated. The staff were unhelpful - they seemed startled/perplexed by the presence of guests. more

We chose the Orchid Suites Resort at Lamai Beach, Koh Samui mainly for the price. It was fairly inexpensive, compared to a lot of the overpriced resorts in Koh Samui. As the saying goes, you get what you pay for. Our room was very basic, and there are no little luxuries, but for a place to sleep it was adequete.... more

This is a very basic hotel with basic amenities. We spent 6 nights here and got pretty much what we expected although the lack of available internet access at this hotel (or anywhere reasonably close by) was a major problem for us.
