Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

I have stayed here many times in the past 4-5 years and liked it a lot, indeed a lot. Reason: location close to main roads, good room standard and sleeping quality and - not the least - I have before always got really good food at reasonable prices served when ordering room service. The food quality is really important since this hotel is in the outskirts of the city and no suitable local restaurants are nearby. I have mainly used this hotel for overnight stays due to long car journeys. This is why I again chose to stay here last night. However, we were greatly disappointed when I and my family members received the ordered food via room service. I just wonder: what has happened with the food? It was completely tasteless, even I specifically ordered spicy ”southern style” and dishes were sloppy and too sweet. On the whole, not good at all. I do not like to express negativity, so please look at it as a cry for help to achieve positive change, i.e. to the good food standard/quality the hotel always provided before. Thus, I kindly urge the management to look into this fatal shortage of cooking quality without delay. Otherwise I may feel forced to take my business elsewhere, and for me this would be an unwanted decision.

The receptions are not friendly. They don’t have service mind. No telling how to get to the room, no smile. It was so bad service from the front. This hotel isn’t a good place for staying after your long day! I booked another hotel is more better

Me and my girlfriend stayed at this hotel as an overnight getaway. It was very nice it had a mini fridge in the room air conditioning and a very nice bathroom hot shower etc. the staff in the lobby were very friendly as well they held the door opened for us when we walked in and out and offered breakfast from 8 to 10 a.m. I believe, although I can't really remember the time. The hotel has a massage facility as well as full dining room and a gym. they have High-Speed Internet available and it's centrally located.

Far away from the city center but close to the shopping mall. The hotel was good but the breakfast was too few choice buffet for European, the only bread was the square white not cakes or croissants. The gym was was good with many choices. Staff okay. The room was good and the shower excellent.

This is a really good option when you go around by car and have to take a break in Surat Thani. The hotel is situated by the main roads so you do not have to go into the city maze. Room was clean and the beds comfortable. They have a quite good kitchen at the hotel and the room service is good. I believe they need to have this as there are not any visible restaurants in the vicinity of the hotel. At least we did not see any. The breakfast buffé also suited us and we could the following day easily continue our journey. If we pass Surat Thani again and need a stop, we will surely come back.

I was so tired having been on the road for 24 hrs , 3 planes later I was ready for a hot shower and bed. I received a very friendly welcome , the kind bar staff gave me milk soo could drink much needed tea . The bed was super comfy and I had a hearty traditional breakfast when I woke up. I would happily return- thanks all :)

If your traveling to or from Ko Samui or other islands close by this is a perfect place to stay overnight. We travelled from Ko Samui by ferry and got the bus to the town then a Tuk Tuk (200thb) to here as it’s out of the town centre. Check in was smooth although they speak little English but enough to get by. The room was very clean and all was perfect. It’s similar to a Premier Inn in the UK. The restaurant is lovely and the food was delicious our meal including 3 large Chang was 625 thb which is very reasonable for a Hotel. Breakfast was included but it’s really geared for Thai people but we had coffee, juice, eggs and toast so no complaints from us. The only criticism really albeit minor is that there is no English speaking TV to watch and as it’s out of the town nothing else to do. Would we stay here again? 100% yes, a perfect stop over place here in Surat Thani.

We were on a road trip from Malaysia all the way to Chiang Rai. Suratthani (S Tara) was a stop by for us to put up a night. We booked this room purely based on reviews on Agoda and the room was very cheap! We werent expecting much for the price we paid but we were SURPRISED when we arrived. We reached the hotel at midnight (1am) and the staff actually came out and greet us and helped us with the luggages all the way to the room. Something even 4/5 star hotels might not do at times. Room was decently comfortable, clean and spacious. Air conditioning was a little noisy but i wouldnt complain about that for what its worth. Breakfast was also included in the room price and the variety was decent. All in all, i'd definitely recommend this hotel for budget travellers looking for a decent hotel (best value for money).
