I found this to be a great hotel in the centre of town, right beside the night market. My room # 249 on the second floor was a smoking room which suited me fine and came with a large king size comfortable bed, mini bar, bathrobes, slippers, proper table for in room dining, electronic safe and satellite TV which had... more

Nice hotel, pricey at 2,000 baht per night, but I went with a golf tournament, who paid! Excellent buffet breakfast, Thai and Western-style. The tea was weak though! ;-) Also they just left you to find your own tea or coffee, despite there being a person who just stood by the pots, instead of circulating and topping up as needed.... more

After arriving on the public river boat from Tha Ton, we were ready to be downtown and in a relatively nice place. We had previously stayed in two different guest houses and loved them both. This was our first foray into a regular hotel and we found it to be bland. While the room was clean, it was not updated... more

We had a very pleasant stay at the Wiang Inn. Good breakfast, very pleasant staff and small but clean swimming pool. Would recommend it to anyone exploring the surrounding areas. We used it for this purpose and explored Mae Sui and the Golden Triangle, had a fabulous time. Hotel is next to the Night Bazaar with many restaurants to eat... more

Don't be fooled by the pictures in brochures or on the internet, this hotel is tired. We stayed two nights and in fairness the hotel is an excellent base for tours of Northern Thailand. Our room was an executive suite but you could hear everything from the room next door. It is not pleasant o hear bathroom noises especially at... more

Not expensive but not quite top class. Rooms OK with good bathrooms, minibar and cable TV. A bit austere and breakfast barely adequate: stale pastries and a plate of cold fried eggs although one day there was an egg chef. Very central. Minibus to the airport (100baht). Attached massage parlour in the Bangkok sense. more

Although there are 4 stars on the entrance this hotel is more a 3. Business Center: I needed to use the business center and paid 100 bhat for an hour of Internet Explorer to connect to my company. They would not allow me to install standard java needed for me to do my work and would not refund me. Pool:... more

Stayed here for the second night of a 5 tour old kingdoms tour with WTS. We had booked this tour independently via the internet. The tour was excellent. Only stayed for one night but the experience was very pleasant. Rooms were nicely decorated and had facilities to make tea and coffee. Bathroom also had bath. Hair dryers were provided in... more

Rooms are big and the hotel is well located in Chiang Rai. Breakfast was ok, nothing really fancy compared to other Fareastern breakfasts. Rooms smell like they have loads of mold in them. Nothing really helped to get rid of the smell. Eventhough it was high season, the hotel was really empty. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone,... more

Our family stayed here for one night only. Check in went smoothly and staff were friendly. We ate dinner and breakfast in the buffet restaurant. I must say the food was outstanding and a great selection (even fish and chips!) The rooms were large and comfortable. Bathrooms were fine also. We didn't have time to use the pool but it... more
